Frequently asked
Which actives can carry disinfectant claims?
Only the registered grades: CB 80e (ADBAC), MBEB 80e (dual quat), 2OD 80e (dialkyl blend), and 2D 50e (DDAC). Your end-use product is registered on ours under the formulator’s exemption, or as a supplemental registration under your brand; the unregistered quats on this page are for rinse aids, vehicle wash, and formulation.
Which surfactants are bleach-stable?
The amine oxides (LO, MO, CAPO, LMAPO) and the hydroxysultaines. Betaines and alkanolamides are not recommended in hypochlorite.
What couples surfactants into caustic and high-electrolyte cleaners?
The short-chain hydrotroping surfactants: decylamine oxide (DAO 30), capryl/capramidopropyl betaine (CCAPB 30), sodium caprylyl sulfonate (C8S 40), and disodium cocoamphodiacetate (DSCADA 38).
Do you supply DEA-free foam stabilizers?
Yes. Cocamide MEA (CMEA) is the DEA-free foam stabilizer and thickener; cocamide DEA (CDEA 11) remains available where it is still specified.
